About Me

I am a Certified Therapeutic Play Practitioner registered with Play Therapy UK.

I have worked with children experiencing Social, Emotional, Behavioural and Mental Health difficulties for over 20 years in a variety of roles across the South West of England.

I provide therapeutic play for children experiencing a range of difficulties, including:

– Low self-confidence

– Low self- esteem

– Friendship difficulties

– Bullying

– Emotional distress

– Behaviour

– Anxiety

– General worries

– Parental Separation

– Loss/Bereavement

– Moving house/school.

– Trauma *

– Child Abuse *

– Children in care/adoption. **may require onward referral.

I receive regular supervision from my clinical supervisor, ensuring that the service I provide is ethical and effective.

ABbout Me

I live in Gloucestershire with my young family, dog, cat and 2 chickens. In my spare time I love being active outdoors.

Qualifications

• Post Graduate Certificate in Therapeutic Play Skills (Distinction) – Leeds Beckett University (APAC) • Master of Arts Sport Development (with Special Educational Needs module) – University of Gloucestershire • Diploma in Playwork - CACHE – University of Gloucestershire
